Amazon Web Services Highlights Generative AI at 2024 re:Invent Conference

Published:

The annual re:Invent conference by Amazon Web Services (AWS), the leader in cloud computing, is underway in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year’s conference is shaping up to be the biggest in its 12-year history. The spotlight is on Generative AI, with fierce competition between tech giants and startups to offer the most beneficial tools for enterprises, the primary clientele of AWS.

Bedrock Upgrades: AI Orchestration and Anti-Hallucination Measures

AWS has introduced multi-agent orchestration to its Bedrock platform, a significant upgrade that empowers enterprises to create collaborative AI agents and enhance workflows. AWS states that this new feature allows businesses, such as Moody’s, to perform more accurate analyses by coordinating specialized agents for intricate tasks.

“AWS’s new Bedrock features include Model Distillation and Automated Reasoning Checks to reduce hallucinations, aiming to improve response accuracy and enable enterprises to create tailored models for specific needs.”

SageMaker: The Combined Data and AI Hub

AWS has unveiled the next generation of SageMaker, integrating analytics and machine learning tools into a unified platform. The upgrades include Lakehouse and Unified Studio capabilities, allowing enterprises to seamlessly link data from various sources for quicker AI app development.
